The FATHERS & SONS ADVENTURE CLUB™ (www.fathersandsonsadventureclub.com) was formed to give men the best way to say "I love you" to their sons. The best way to say this is to spend time together, and it's even better if you're also doing something of mutual enjoyment. Men bond when they do something epic together, like hiking Mount Everest or rescuing someone from certain death. However, thankfully this isn't something that usually happens to the average person. So what is the next best thing? Adventure! Adventure contains many of these elements and is available to all men. So what must you now do? Consider attending an upcoming FATHER & SONS ADVENTURE CLUB meeting in either Reston or Leesburg.
FATHERS & SONS ADVENTURE CLUB™ organizes monthly adventures so that all Dads have to do is show-up. Many men are so busy with a hectic pace between work and home responsibilities that the organizing of anything of value with their kids can often overwhelm the experience. So what happens is that men and their boys aren't experiencing shared memories. In essence, this is what the FATHERS & SONS ADVENTURE CLUB™ does. We provide monthly adventures and outdoor educational training sessions for you and your son. All you need to do is show-up and be prepared to share in a life-changing event. You will be boogie-boarding in the ocean, hiking up mountains, fossil hunting, biking, camping, going on guided fishing outings, skiing, canoeing, observing wildlife, looking for snakes with an expert, white water rafting, playing a Thanksgiving flag football tournament, etc.
PERSONAL NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER: Before I had my sons Cameron and Zachary, I day-dreamed about the things I might do with them. Yet when I compared my dreams to current reality, I was saddened to realize I was off-target and not doing the things with them I thought I would do. I further believed that if I were missing the mark, maybe a lot of other fathers were too. The FATHERS & SONS ADVENTURE CLUB™ was born from my determination to make sure that fathers and sons have the best chance to connect, uplift and love each other. Men especially enjoy the sense of camaraderie that occurs when experiencing an adventure together. Wouldn't it be great to do this with your son? Adventure has a wonderful repairing and strengthening effect on men, so don't underestimate the effect this powerful club can have on your relationships.
