The Democrats got 1/3 of the money from Enron that Republicans got, and that's not counting Vinson & Elkins, Andersen or the other Big Five accounting firms, all of whom where among Bush's largest campaign contributors but hardly a blip on the Democratic side. So, in a nutshell, whatever influence Enron et al bought from the Democrats, they bought many times more from the Republicans, and especially Bush, who has gotten more money from Enron than any other contributor over his political career.

Regardless, your argument is stupid. All you are saying is that the Democrats are guilty to a lesser degree of the same thing as the GOP. Every single incident you list above has MULTIPLE analogues in the Bush administration. The implication of your argument is:

The Democrats did it, so it is okay for the GOP.

Is that the best you can do?
