Today is Monday, August 10, 2009. Check out the following headlines from the Town of Herndon:

South Van Buren Street will be closed TODAY through August 28, due to construction related to the Darlington Oaks subdivision project.
Detour information

The Herndon Farmers’ Market celebrates its 20th anniversary this Thursday morning, August 13, 2009, with giveaways for the first 500 shoppers, a presentation by the Mayor, giveaways for kids and more.
Information

Registration for fall programs and classes with the town’s Parks & Recreation Department gets under way August 19, 2009 for residents, August 25 for non-residents.
