...and I'm impressed.

It's in the Tall Oaks shopping center and it's a nice store with good prices. Finally, something viable to replace the old Giant that used to be there.

Check it out!!

I was hoping they'd have a taco shop inside where you can get a taco, burrito, or fajita fresh. They lack a fast food option in that shopping center for people who don't want a whole pizza or a sub.

What strikes me with the CF market is how little I know about non-traditional American foods. And btw, I do not think the prices are all that inexpensive on many of the brand items I usually buy.. perhaps the plantains and aloe leafs are a steal...

Closing 3/20. Lots of things still in stock. 20% off normal sticker prices is not enticing many bargain hunters, especially since ethnic markets tend to have higher prices for American brand items.

It only lasted less than a year? Scary.

I think there are too many grocery stores in reston/herndon and the area just can't support another one. People are only going to eat so much food.

According to the sign on the store, they've opened two new stores in the DC area. One of the locations is 2800 Graham Rd in Falls Church which was previously the site of a Magruder's that closed recently.

I honestly think it's hard to support not only another food store but an ethnic one in Reston. It's a shame, too, because there's nowhere decent to buy fish here.
