Take a look at what to expect if we don't stand up for America and America's Christian heritage....notice, these aren't Christians killing innocent people --- they are ....Muslims

7/14/2008 (Mogadishu, Somalia) - Two woman are murdered in a shooting attack by Mujahideen.
7/14/2008 (Mogadishu, Somalia) - Islamic militia gun down a man sitting in a tea shop.
7/14/2008 (Baghdad, Iraq) - Three people are killed when a Muslim terrorist tosses a grenade into a gathering.
7/14/2008 (Songkhla, Thailand) - A local security patrol is ambushed by Islamic militants, leaving one member dead.
7/14/2008 (Doda, India) - Islamists toss a grenade into a police station, killing at least one local officer.
7/14/2008 (Paktika, Afghanistan) - Sunni extremists take out a car with a roadside bomb, killing seven civilians.

......and some nuts wanna bring this to America ? Ladies and gentlemen, get on your knees and pray for guidance and pray that it will not happen.

Bring what specifically to America? If you're talking about Islam, in the United States of America everyone has the right to practice (or not practice) what ever religion they want.

I will pray to Allah that the killings stop. Names don't mean much to me.

Overseer, why don't you print the statistics of murders in the US too? It's not like the Middle East countries have a lock on killing. Please also provide us with the numbers of folks the US has killed since the beginning of the "war", it might be enlightening. While you are at it, provide us with the deaths in Darfur, and in Bosnia/Serbia. How about some statistics on Myanmar/Burma. How about abortion clinic bombings? Hell, tell us how many Christians were killed during the crusades by other Christians.

The problem with you overseer, is that you don't present facts about God, about religion, about anything. You present your own opinion, assumptions and beliefs. And those are not FACTS. Just the opinions of another poster on this blog.

The only good thing I see about your posts, is that it is necessary to know there are people like you out there, Scary, but good to know. Makes folks like me make sure I vote.

America is teetering on the edge of welcoming the very scourge into our society that has openly professed thier desires to kill us, has done so, and has no intention to stop ..... I even go so far as to say they are welcome here and are welcome to practice thier religion BUT only if they understand that because of thier goals, intent, and history - that they must understand the extra scrutiny under which they must do so. Everything has a price Ms.Dorman, and the price for America NOT to deal with this entity in this manner is far to great not to.
however, step #1 as always is :

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

America's path, down which it currently trods, is identicle to that of Israel in that it turned it's back on God......and suffered destruction. God's judgement is not to be with held for long. In fact, many instances in Israel's history of rejection came in roughly 40 year increments. We can not continue the government sanctioned killing innocent babies and legalized abominations & expect God's wrath not to fall upon us.
O, and FYI there's much more difference between Allah and the God of Israel / America than just the name.

the informative O, at your service

Don't ever think Allah is the same as God --- here's why
Long before Muhammad was born, Arabic Christians were already referring to God as Allah — and millions continue to do so today. The Allah of Islam, however, is definitely not the God of the Bible; for while Muslims passionately defend the unity of God, they patently deny His triunity. They recoil at the notion of God as Father, reject the unique deity of Jesus Christ the Son, and renounce the divine identity of the Holy Spirit.

First, while Jesus taught His disciples to pray "Our Father in heaven," devotees of Muhammad find the very notion offensive. To their way of thinking, calling God "Father" and Jesus Christ "Son" suggests sexual procreation. According to the Qur'an, "It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son" (Sura 19:35); and Allah "begetteth not, nor is he begotten" (Sura 112:3). The Bible, however, does not use the term "begotten" with respect to the Father and the Son in the sense of sexual reproduction but rather in the sense of special relationship; thus, when the apostle John speaks of Jesus as "the only begotten of the Father" (John 1:14 KJV, emphasis added), he is underscoring the unique deity of Christ. John goes on to state, "No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known" (John 1:18 NIV). When the apostle Paul likewise refers to Jesus as "the firstborn over all creation" (Colossians 1:15 NIV, emphasis added), he is emphasizing Christ's preeminence or prime position as the Creator of all things (cf. vv. 16–19). Christians are sons of God through adoption; Jesus is God the Son from all eternity.

Muslims, furthermore, dogmatically denounce the Christian declaration of Christ's unique deity as the unforgivable sin of shirk. As the Qur'an puts it, "Allah forgiveth not (the sin of) joining other gods with Him; but He forgiveth whom He pleaseth other sins than this" (Sura 4:116). Muslims readily affirm the sinlessness of Christ, however, they adamantly deny His sacrifice upon the cross and subsequent resurrection. In doing so, they deny the singular historical fact that demonstrates that Jesus does not stand in a long line of peers from Abraham to Muhammad, but is God in human flesh. The Qur'anic phrase, "Allah raised him up" (Sura 4:158) is taken to mean that Jesus was supernaturally raptured rather than resurrected from the dead. In Islamic lore, God made someone look like Jesus, and this look-alike was crucified in His place. In recent years, the myth that Judas was crucified in place of Jesus has been popularized in Muslim circles due to the propagation of a late-medieval work titled The Gospel of Barnabas. Against the weight of historical evidence, the Qur'an exclaims, "they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them" (Sura 4:157).

Finally, in addition to rejecting the divinity of Jesus, Islam also renounces the divine identity of the Holy Spirit. Far from being the third person of the triune God who inspired the text of the Bible, Islam teaches that the Holy Spirit is the archangel Gabriel who dictated the Qur'an to Muhammad over a period of 23 years. This is ironic considering that Islam also identifies the Holy Spirit promised by Jesus in John 14 as Muhammad. The Bible, however, roundly rejects such corruptions and misrepresentations. The Holy Spirit is neither an angel nor a mere mortal; rather, He is the very God Who redeems us from our sins and will one day resurrect us to life eternal (e.g., Acts 5:3–4; Rom. 8:11).

hope this clears it up for you

Well.....
(A)
Christianity and Judaism each have several things on thier side to support them...
Historical and archaeological evidence, prophecies fulfilled, claims of divinity, infinitely higher numbers of lives changed for the positive, wellfounded and established biblical claims being true ( such as "I will bless the nations which bless Israel..."

(B)
Islam has a bunch of simpleminded statements and claims of one man that amount to nothing more than his own attempt to take Christian truths and counter them with his own conjecture. He [ mohammad ] claims nothing that we can verify, he predicts nothing we can validate, he submits nothing historicly accurate that we can verify aside from what Christianity and Judaism have already done.... Absolutely the only thing lending any credibility to islam is that part of it which is derived from the Holy Bible.....and the indisputable fact that islam has cost more in terms of death tolls, human rights violations, and hate than all the crusades and handfull of [alleged] Christian extremist throughout all time. There simply is no comparison when speaking in terms of logical benefits of adhering to Chritianity vs Islam.

bottom line.... where Chritianity prevails.... people prevail and prosper
where islam prevails --- people are oppressed.
do the math - add up the Chritian nations in one coloumn and compare the status of the 3rd world islamic regimes in the other..... then decide strictly on the common sense basis of which would you like more.

O ... bringing hOpe tO all thrOugh educatiOn....
