Simply as a clarification, to note some extremely interesting "coincidences" in no way implies any hatred for anyone. A widely recognized principle of the Holy Bible is God's system of justice - which usually includes a statement of expectations based upon certain conditions, and the resultant consequences of adherence to ( blessings ) or violation of ( curses, judgements and punishments ) those said conditions. ..starting as far back as Adam and Eve. Typicaly there is even a period of warnings of impending doom prior to the wrath being imposed.

FYI - Fables do not carry a track record of comming true in ways verifiable throughout history. I merely point out circumstances. It is the individual who must interpret them as to whether he or she believes them to be coincidences or not. The most I assert is that it is certainly worth taking note of. The wise would recognize that if there be even the slightest remote possibility that my assertions are correct, then the ramifications and implications should be explored. Only a fool would scoff at something which may carry with it earth changing consequences. Choose which camp you are in.

The US needs to stop interfering with the affairs of the middle east. Obama is probably calling for this "pre-1967 borders" nonsense to appease OPEC, because of the weak US economy. Shame on us.

Israel was right to take the Golan Heights in 1967, and calling for them to return that is just plain wrong. It was interference by colonial powers, for their own business interests, that caused the problems that led to the present day powderkeg that we know as the middle east, and it's time to stop making that mistake.

And the religious fanatic angle is not helping. This is part of the unholy alliance of the US Right Wing. Conservatives need to get real. Religious fanatics are the probem, not the solution.
