I received this by e-mail from Dranesville Supervisor John Foust.
---------------
VDOT has informed us that a tree trimming project on a portion of Georgetown Pike is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, weather permitting. The section of Georgetown Pike involved is between Old Dominion Drive and the Capital Beltway. There will be partial lane closures at various times to be controlled by a flagger.
The work to be performed includes removal of dead trees within VDOT right-of-way and removal of limbs that overhang the road at a height of approximately 15 feet. All work will be done between 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. There will be VDOT supervisory personnel on site at all times.
